Dr. Neil Hawkes has been invited to give a keynote presentation to the Headteachers of European Schools in Cyprus this coming week about Values-based Education. This is a great opportunity for Neil to influence the moral and academic direction of 600 Headteachers from throught Europe. Neil said, “My dream is to influence the direction of all schools so that both adults and students embrace universal human values such as respect, trust and cooperation. In the UK today, there has been a call for children to be givien lessons to raise their awareness about knife crime. I believe that if the curriculum is underpinned by values, then conscious awareness will be affected, so pupils will know how to live their lives in a peaceful and productive way that has meaning and purpose.” What do you think?
