Very many thanks for your talk at the Generation Next festival on Monday. The responses I have been getting since are excellent, many people were so inspired by the evening. I will definitely be following up with schools and teachers who attended to involve them in your Value-based initiative.

Neil was part of a town festival looking at innovative ideas this evening. Incredibly positive audience. Neil gave an illustrated talk to inspire folk to support Values-based Education in the community. Great evening.

Staff at Lyon Park Infant and Junior Schools, Brent work with Neil to understand the philosophy and practice of values-based Education. This 900 place school is underpinning its curriculum with positive human values. This was a great day with an enthusiastic and dedicated staff led by an outstanding headteacher.

Lyneham Primary School awarded Values Education Quality Mark again.

Congratulations to Lyneham Primary School in Wiltshire for being awarded the Quality Mark as a Values-based School for the second time. Application for the Quality Mark occurs every three year period. Dr Neil Hawkes spent the day at the school and reported back to the staff and governors at the end of the day. He said: “The school has developed its Values work to an outstanding standard and is a model of good practice. The children understand the values vocabulary and act as role models to each other. Values Education is affecting families too in a very positive way.” Lyneham, near Royal Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire is acting as a focus school for other schools in the area. Launching Values Education at Faldingworth School

Hi Neil
Attended your training event in Louth in Jan 2012/joint Fulstow School. We have since visited Fulstow and
I wanted to get in touch to let you know about our plans to introduce values based education at our school. We are starting with a \’vote for your values\’ workshop on Wednesday this week. We have invited parents, govs, community reps etc to join teacher and parents in some fun values workshops. Following this we will all have the chance to vote for our favourite values – this will inform our long term plan. Also planning a \’Values Production\’ of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat\’ this summer.
We will send you more details and keep you updated on progress?

Values Education success acknowledged in the Seychelles

Dear Mr Hawkes,
Have not forgotten you. You will surely be glad to know that the Living Values programme at Beau Vallon Secondary school is still very much alive. We have just submitted the project to be published in the Guidebook to Education Initiatives in the Commonwealth. The launching will take take in Mauritius in August. Hope the project is accepted. Thank you for making the school what it is today-top on the list where discipline is concerned. We also came out first for IGCSE results. Once again Thank you.
